Checkered Schnabel tip forearm and pistol grip stock with sling swivels, raised cheekpiece, horn grip cap, engraved cartridge trap, and a checkered horn buttplate. The barrel and stock dimensions are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .679/.682 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0355/.034 inch; drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches.

Fine as period refinished (barrels) with 65% of the aging blue finish, small traces of pitting and blemishes under the finish, high point and edge wear, handling marks overall and clear markings. The receiver has a mostly gray patina with traces of some yellowing varnish and mild spotting. The wood is fair with small chips along the forearm edges, small dings an gouges, worn checkering, and cracks on the buttplate. Mechanically good.
