Manufactured in 1983. Features factory Class "C" American style floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background. The engraving covers the barrel, cylinder flats between the flutes, frame, trigger guard and back strap. One line address on top of the barrel, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45" on the left side of the barrel and the two line, three patent date marking with the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. The smooth grips are numbered to the gun and feature Custom Shop medallions. The grip strap is marked "COLT ENG" under the left grip. The accompanying Colt Factory letter confirms the barrel length, finish, grips and Class "C" American engraving with the engraver's name listed as "unavailable." The revolver was a 1 gun shipment sent to John Jovino Co., New York, New York, on December 16, 1983, on Colt Custom Shop order 2464.

Near new with original nickel finish and shows only light handling marks. The grips are also excellent with some scratches on the right panel and an attractive color. The markings and engraving are sharp. The action is excellent.
