Manufactured from 1907 to 1915 within the serial number range 1 to 15,375. It has the very desirable triple lock mechanism, fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights, desirable 6 1/2 inch barrel with standard address and caliber markings, matching serial and assembly numbers, S&W trademark on the right side plate, 5-screw frame, checkered hammer, checkered cylinder latch, and smooth trigger. Includes a grip adaptor.

Fine with 70% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish, areas of high point and edge wear, handling marks, thinning on the grip straps, and some brown patina and flaking in the cylinder flutes. The grips are fine period replacements with handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
