Manufactured in 1990 as part of a 1,800 unit production run in a high polish blue finish with a special serial number range (MAG001 through MAG3000 ), ramped orange highlighted blade front sight, adjustable white outlined rear notch sight, casehardened checkered target hammer, casehardened serrated target trigger, six round fluted cylinder, LaserSmith engraved "29 MAGNA CLASSIC/1 of 3000" on the right side of the barrel, "SMITH & WESSON/44 MAGNUM" on the left, and contoured three finger groove grips with S&W medallions. Includes a Smith & Wesson leather bound case, small box of seven extra front sight inserts, key, and certificate.

Excellent overall with some general light handling marks, small scratches on the cylinder face, and a faint cylinder drag line.
