Manufactured in 1941. The barrel features a single steel bead sight on the solid matte rib, a 3 inch chamber, and skeet marked choke. The barrel and receiver are correctly stamped with the Winchester oval "WP" proof with the barrel mark offset to the left because of the rib, and matching serial numbers on the receiver and barrel collar. Mounted on a diamond pattern checkered extension forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches.

Very fine with 85% original blue finish, scattered light surface rust, handling marks, cycling marks on the barrel, magazine tube, and action bar, and crisp markings. The wood is fine with well defined checkering, scattered small dings, handling marks, and light pressure indentations. Mechanically excellent.
