Manufactured circa 1946. Hooded ramp beaded blade front sight, the rear sight slot has a filler block, and there is a bolt mounted peep sight, (standard from the factory on .219 Zipper chambered rifles). The left rear of the barrel is marked with the two-line address/proof steel, trademark, model and caliber legend. The Winchester oval proof is on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. All blue finish, 2/3 length magazine tube and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 97% original blue finish with some minor muzzle and edge wear, some wear on the left side of the barrel, and a few minor scratches and handling marks. The wood is very fine with most of the original varnish remaining and a few minor scuffs and handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
