Manufactured from 1911 to 1948. Features a single raised steel bead sight on the barrel with a 2 3/4 inch chamber, full choke, standard markings, and light scroll engraving just forward of the breech. The receiver features standard D grade floral and scroll engraving with fine detail and wavy line borders. Mounted on a multi-point checkered finger groove forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a serrated plastic Remington buttplate. Includes a second 26 inch barrel numbered to match the gun with a 2 3/4 inch chamber, cylinder choke, and matching engraving at the breech. The stock dimensions are: drop at comb 1 3/4 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 13 7/8 inches.

Fine with 70% of the faded original blue finish remaining, displaying areas of high point and edge wear, handling marks, and areas thinning to a smooth light gray patina. The forearm is numbered "48951". The wood is fine as refinished with a repaired break just behind the grip area of the buttstock, some non-matching pieces of filler wood, rounded checkering, and shallow finger grooves on the forend. Mechanically excellent.
