Manufactured in 1923, and shipped as a single item to Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri, "c/o Walden & Lee" on January 18, 1923, with the grips "Not Listed" and other features verified. Features standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, two-line address and patent dates on top of the barrel, and "NEW SERVICE 45 COLT" on the left side of the barrel. Fitted with a set of checkered grips with "COLT" molded at the top. Includes the original maroon Colt box.

Excellent with 98% original blue finish, light handling marks, traces of surface rust on the right side of the trigger, and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with light handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with mild corner wear and some small scuffs with a fine original end label.
