Manufactured in 1933. Standard blade front and frame notch rear sight, barrel marked with the two-line address/patent dates on top and New Service legend on the left side and checkered Colt medallion grips numbered to the gun. The factory box is renumbered (by unknown source) to the gun. With "Special Instructions" and matching number test target.

Excellent. The revolver retains 97% original blue finish showing thinning on the back strap and some minor muzzle wear. The grips are very fine showing some scattered wear in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with a tear on top of the lid, separated corner and a torn short end lid side. Most of the label remains with an added label reading "S.W. 28879."
