Manufactured in 1926, and shipped as a single item to Von Lengerke & Detmold of Chicago, Illinois on May 8, 1926, with verified features including the "rubber" grips. Features standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, two-line address and patent dates on top of the barrel and "NEW SERVICE 44-40" on the left side of the barrel. Fitted with a set of checkered grips with "COLT" molded at the top. Includes maroon Colt box.

Excellent with 98% original blue finish, small handling marks, light muzzle wear, and a small cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some small tears, corner and edge wear, and a partial faded reproduction end label.
