Manufactured in 1938. Hooded ramp front sight, barrel tapped for a rear sight at the breech and Leupold M8 6x scope on Redfield mounts. Standard Winchester markings including factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver and "SPORTING" on the floor plate. Mounted on a diamond pattern checkered pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, contrasting forend, sling swivel studs, factory hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refinished. The rifle retains 99% plus of the blue finish showing a few scattered minor handling marks. The revarnished stock is fine showing a cut-out for a now removed receiver sight, some scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically needs work as the safety does not engage when action is cocked. The scope has clear optics.
