Manufactured in 1954. Ramped beaded blade front sight with provisions for a hood, folding adjustable leaf rear sight, receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting (filler screws absent), late safety, hallow bolt knob, polished bolt numbered to gun (super grade should be jeweled) and standard Winchester factory markings including the factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver at the breech and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate. Mounted with a checkered high comb pistol grip stock with ebony forend tip, metal grip cap, cheekpiece, quick release sling swivels holding a leather sling and checkered steel buttplate.

Fine as assembled. The rifle retains 85% original blue finish showing some loss at the muzzle and on the high points of the buttplate, some areas thinning to a gray and some minor scratches. The replacement stock is fine showing some minor handling marks, a surface chip missing near the toe and a few gouges in the checkering with most of the finish remaining. Mechanically excellent.
