Manufactured in 1987 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Model 70. Features a hooded, ramped bead on blade front and flip up adjustable rear leaf sight. The barrel has standard model, address, and caliber markings on the left side and is inscribed "The Rifleman's Rifle 1937-1987" on the right in fancy script. The barrel, receiver, floor plate, trigger guard, and grip cap all feature fine, light floral scroll engraving. Mounted on a multi-point checkered stock with inset sling swivel eyes, and a solid rubber Winchester recoil pad. Includes the original box and papers.

Excellent with 99% original blue finish, and scattered light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with sharp checkering and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some mild storage and handling wear.
