This is a scarce early preban battle rifle made by the Finnish company Valmet. This is an early version made with a fixed walnut stock and black plastic Valmet buttplate. There is a hooded post front sight with a flip up night sight and peep sight that can be flipped over with a standard rear sight. There is a three prong flash hider/bayonet lug pinned to the barrel. Mounted on a checkered synthetic forearm and pistol grip along with a smooth walnut buttstock with a serrated plastic buttplate.

Excellent. 98% original finish remains with small handling marks and traces of light oxidation. The stock is excellent with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
