Early pre-ban model, with adjustable post front and two-leaf rear sights, with the desirable "Howa/Japan" model, address and "PATENTS PENDING" markings stamped on the frame. It has the early three prong flash hider, cut down bayonet lug, ambidextrous selector, and "AR-18" marked pistol grip. Ribbed and ventilated forearm, smooth pistol grip and folding buttstock with ribbed buttplate. An Armalite 2.75x20 scope is installed on the receiver. Includes a green canvas sling and two extra magazines.

Excellent with 97% original finish with scattered small handling marks, surface scratches, and minimal nicks. The forend and stock are very good with handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The optics are clear.
