The factory letter confirms this revolver shipped in its current configuration, including the "one-piece buffalo horn" grip, to Cherokee Publications in Kansas City, Missouri, on December 13, 2004, in a shipment with one other gun of this type. These buffalo grips are very rare and were very expensive due to the difficulty in finding a perfectly piece of horn and the required hand fitting. Aside from the grips, it has standard markings and features, including matching serial numbers.
