Rating Definition:

Excellent. 97% plus original blue finish and 98% of the original vibrant case colors remain. The blue on the barrel has turned a plum tone and is faded at the muzzle from fitting the bayonet. The raised edges of the buttplate have some bright wear and mild brown patina. The bayonet and scabbard retain virtually all of the original blue and have some slight spotting. The stock is also excellent and has extremely crisp markings, minimal light scratches and scuffs, crisp edges, and strong original oil finish. This rifle is mechanically excellent and in nearly as issued condition.
