Description:

Manufactured during the late 1850s and early 1860s. This example has the factory markings on both sides of the frame, cylinder and hammer cut-out numbered to gun, a large number "6" or "9" stamped on the cylinder near the serial number, "W" inspector marks on most of the major components and a grip with an inspector cartouche on the left side.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver retains nearly 30% bright original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grip is fine with some minor pressure dents and scratches and a legible cartouche. The action needs work as the hammer does not release properly after the action is cycled.
