Manufactured in 1858. Matching numbers are found on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, cylinder, loading lever, barrel wedge and arbor pin. The top of the back strap has two sets of initials: script "JT" and block letter "HD." "HD" is also carved on the grip (right side).

Rating Definition:

Good. The revolver has a mottled gray patina with traces of original case colors remaining in the protected areas. There is some scattered light pitting. Much of the cylinder scene remains. The grip straps retain 60% original silver plating. Illegible initials are hand scratched on the butt. The grip is good with a large chip missing near the bottom (left side), a number of minor dings on the bottom and some minor handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent.
