Description:

The accompanying factory confirms the barrel length, finish and grips. It was part of a 1,250 gun shipment to S&W agent J.W. Storrs of New York City on December 30, 1867. The barrel and cylinder have matching assembly numbers. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 70% original high polish with the balance a smooth brown patina. A series of dings are behind the trigger and a series of scratches are on the butt. The grips are fine with a small hand marked "X" near the bottom (left panel), some minor handling marks and retaining 85% of the varnish. Mechanically excellent.
