Red bead front and mid bead sights on the matte rib barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers, selective auto ejectors, and full/full chokes. Standard barrel markings, Winchester "WP" proofs on the flats with the two-line patent dates and address/model information on the water table. Fitted with a tang mounted thumb safety, and single selective trigger. Mounted on a "kidney" pattern checkered beavertail forearm and straight grip stock with a gold initial oval inscribed "IRVIN/HOLLISTER/GILROY/CALIF" and a solid Winchester pad. The second barrel set is 28 inches long, with a solid rib, dual bead sights, 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, "WS-1/WS-2" marked chokes, and matching serial number. The barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .613/.613 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .043/.043 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches. Barrel measurements for the second set are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .612/.612 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .044/.044 inch. Includes a Winchester takedown case with two snap caps and an extra checkered walnut splinter forearm numbered to the gun without the mounting hardware.

Very fine. 99% professionally refinished blue finish remains with a few very light surface scratches, and handling marks overall. The wood is also very fine with sharp checkering, fine figure, rich color, some light surface scratches visible, and a small area of crazing on the left side of the wrist. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel set is also very fine with traces of light pitting under the blue at the muzzle and a slight ripple effect visible under direct light. The case is excellent with some light marks on the exterior.
