According to a letter (framed) from Richard M. Pelton, President/ CEO, U.S. Repeating Arms Co, dated May 23, 1986, this cased set was part of a 45 gun set manufactured by the Model 21 Custom Shop in New Haven, Connecticut. These 45 constitute the only sets in this style manufactured under the Winchester name. The barrels are 1) 26 inch vent rib with 2 3/4 inch chamber, improved cylinder choke, 2) 28 inches long with modified choke and 3) 30 inches long with full choke. Each barrel has a wedge of engraving on each side of the chamber, scrollwork on the mounting hardware and a pigeon on the tube housing. White front and steel mid bead sights on the vent rib and mounted with triple X fancy multi-point checkered American walnut forearms. "Y" series action with jeweled bolt and follower, scroll engraving and game scenes. The left side has a large field scene with two gold inlaid bird dogs and gold inlaid flying grouse. The right side has four gold inlaid flying ducks in a marsh scene. Mounted with triple X fancy checkered American black walnut pistol grip stock with a metal Winchester grip cap and checkered plastic Winchester marked buttplate. Length of pull is 13 15/16 inches. The set comes in a walnut case with a French cut maroon wool interior.

Near new in case, with some minor handling/storage marks overall. The case shows some minor scratches and dings on the exterior.
