Manufactured circa 1909 to 1936. The sides and top of the receiver are engraved with floral scroll designs, as well as a squirrel jumping from branch to branch on the left side and a rabbit on the right side. 5 inches of the breech of the side and upper barrel flats have a leaf pattern. The top of the receiver features a gold inlaid accent in the scrollwork. The same leaf pattern is on the top flat directly ahead of the rear sight, on the slide bar behind the handle, on the trigger guard, a band around the muzzle and on the magazine tube rings. The bottom front of the receiver is signed "ENG. BY/W. WOOD". All other markings are standard. Dovetailed blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight, and mounted with a 10 groove forearm and stock with a crescent buttplate.

Very fine as professionally custom embellished with 99% dark blue finish remaining showing some light handling/storage marks and some light spotting on the barrel. The wood shows a couple of minor dings and some minor handling marks. The markings and engraving are clear. The action is excellent.
