Manufactured in 1957 (receiver). Dovetail front and elevation adjustable rear sight on a barrel with the Winchester legend on the left side and a "P" in an oval on top of the barrel at the breech and the Winchester factory proof (double stamped) on the receiver at the breech. The left side of the receiver is marked "WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK" highlighted in red. 3/4 length magazine tube with a gallery triangle loading port. Mounted with a smooth straight grip walnut stock with checkered plastic Winchester buttplate and 17 groove forearm.

Very fine as factory rebarreled and factory quality refinished with 99% blue finish remaining, showing some very minor thinning and wear on the forearm slide bar and rear portion of the magazine tube from normal cycling of the action. The wood shows a few light pressure dents and handling marks. The markings are crisp. The action is excellent.
