Manufactured in 1949. Hooded beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights with standard barrel markings including the Winchester "WP" proof on the barrel and receiver, offset to the left. The top of the receiver is matted and factory drilled and tapped for scope/sight mounting with filler screws in place. Mounted on a checkered pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate.

Fine. 80% plus original blue finish remains with areas of mild high point and edge wear, some small scattered dings, and handling marks overall. The stock is has well-defined checkering, scattered small pressure dents, a small chip on the forearm, and shallow scratches mostly on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
