Manufactured in 1951. Hooded ramp front and elevation adjustable rear sights, receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting, safety, straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to the gun, sling swivels and checkered pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate. Note that the letter "X" has been added to the serial number on the receiver and bolt. Reason unknown.

Excellent. The rifle retains nearly 97% plus original blue finish showing some smooth gray patina on the buttplate. The stock is also excellent showing the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
