The included factory letter confirms the caliber, 6 inch barrel with standard markings, checkered wraparound grips with Rampant Colt medallions and Heritage of Colt Craftsmanship box. The revolver was a sample piece kept by the Colt factory and was released from the factory inventory in 2008. The box has a Colt Custom Gun Shop label numbered to the gun.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original blue finish showing limited high spot wear, a light cylinder drag line and a number of scratches mostly on the side plate. The grips are near new with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some scattered wear and a couple of small tears.
