The chamber area of the upper barrel has a 2 1/4 inch wedge of fine decorative scroll on both the left and right sides with contrasting gold inlaid borders. The receiver has been masterfully engraved and features scenes of two hunting dogs flushing ducks on the right, and a single dog flushing three pheasants on the left. The scenes have incredible detail and the animals are rendered in fine semi-relief gold inlay with gold borders. The underside is similarly engraved and features a gold inlaid crown and "Krieghoff/Model 32" also in gold. The piece is signed "P. BARBETTI" just to the right of the trigger guard on the underside. The top of the receiver features a gold inlaid shattered sporting clay. Single gold washed selective trigger, and automatic tang mounted thumb safety. Mounted on an intensely figured fancy walnut checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a contrasting ebony grip cap and Kick-Eez solid recoil pad. Includes a second single 34 inch vent rib barrel with a 3 inch chamber and improved modified choke. The chamber area of the single barrel has been engraved. The single barrel dimensions are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .733 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0585 inch. Excellent. 99% original finish remains with a few small handling marks visible, and sharp, highly detailed engraving. The wood is excellent with the exception of a small knot on the top right side of the comb, crisp checkering, and attractive, bold figure. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel is very good as engraved and partially refinished (just in the engraved area) with light handling marks and mild forearm wear.
