Manufactured in 1977. The receiver lacks the forward assist and case deflector found on later production AR-15s. It has the second style round flash hider and bayonet lug, standard adjustable front sight and two-position rear sight with windage adjustments, two-piece triangular handguard and checkered pistol grip. With cardboard carton, Colt manual dated "A 11-72", black plastic muzzle cover, two Colt 20-round magazines, Colt sling, four-piece cleaning rod and copper bore and chamber cleaning brushes.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus original finish and showing a few mild handling marks overall. The carton has no Colt markings or end labels but is original and is very good.
