Adopted by the Swedish military in 1945 and in use by the Swedish Home Guard (Hemvärnet) until 2007 when it was officially retired from Swedish service. Post front and three-leaf rear notch sights, ventilated barrel shroud with a large knurled barrel nut, and sling swivels. Stamped sheet metal receiver with standard Swedish "crown/letter" proofs. Open bolt operating system with the ability to lock the bolt in the forward position by pressing in on the charging handle and a nominally safe position engaged by directing the charging handle into a notch on the right rear of the receiver. Smooth wood slab pistol grip with a folding tubular steel buttstock. The serial numbers on the receiver and barrel shroud do not match.
Good as refinished with scattered areas of light pitting visible under the gray phosphate finish, mild high point and edge wear, handling marks throughout, and some visible surface scratches. The grip has a few small dings, and fold wear is present on the buttstock hinge. Mechanically excellent.
