This is a solid representative example of a DWM Model 1900 Commercial Luger pistol with a period custom holster. The left side of the frame has been engraved with the initials "W.F.C.," and the right side rear frame area is also engraved with a small shield. Early features such as the short frame and barrel extension, dished toggles with toggle lock, recessed breechblock, grip safety, no stock lug, narrow trigger, and first pattern polished frame safety area. Fitted with a hold-open device. It is correctly numbered in the commercial fashion with the serial number "10722" stamped on the front of the frame and under the barrel with the last two digits "22" stamped on the various smaller parts. Includes three original magazines, (one for the pistol and two spares) with unnumbered/unmarked wooden bases. The holster is smooth black leather with no magazine pouch and a single belt loop on the back side and a full box of Remington-UMC marked .30 Luger ammunition. The Luger, ammunition and spare magazine are all stored in a current/new made custom Luger case with a simulated leather outer cover.

Fine with 85% of an old professionally restored blue finish remaining overall with only light edge and high spot wear overall. The smaller parts retain 60% of their refinished straw colors with slight more color in the protected areas. The walnut grips are very fine with nice, sharp checkering on both sides, showing only minor handling marks overall. The holster is good with tight stitching, and the custom case is very fine overall showing only minor wear along the edges and corners of the case overall.
