Fixed sights, dated 1937 on the chamber, with the "S/42" code on the toggle. "Droop wing eagle/63" proofs on the extension and barrel, with eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. External numbers are matching, including the "+" stamped "eagle/63" blue/alloy magazine. Included with the pistol is a Japanese Type 26 Revolver holster that has been altered to accept the pistol as well as the included unnumbered extra magazine and takedown tool.

Very fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, a gray/brown patina on the grip straps and the rear of the frame, and mild handling marks overall. The grips are also very fine, with a mended chip near the safety lever and some light dings and flat spots. The holster is good as modified, with some tearing of the edges and mild wear and stitching loss. Mechanically excellent.
