Blade front and round top notch rear sights, with the two-line, two block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and the Army nomenclature on the reverse. The frame is U.S. Property marked and Walter Penfield "WGP" inspected, with a long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, smooth mainspring housing, an early "keyhole" pattern unmarked pinned base two-tone magazine, and a conjoined "HP" marked Colt barrel.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 40% of the original blue finish, areas of gray and brown patina, high edge wear, and scattered spotting and handling marks. The grips are good with some scuffs and deep cuts. Mechanically excellent.
