This is an example of a pre-Series 70 commercial Government Model pistol manufactured in 1970, the last year before the introduction of the Series 70. This pistol is one of the few guns marked with the "BB" on the frame and barrel indicating a change made in the barrel bushing that would be utilized on the soon to be new Series 70 Government Models. Includes the original box numbered to gun and papers.

Excellent. 98% original blue finish remains with light handling marks overall, and a small bright spot on the underside of the frame. The grips are also excellent. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with old tape and labels on the lid.
