Manufactured in 1981 and custom engraved. Floral scrollwork on a punch dot background with star like burst is on the rear of the cylinder and a fan pattern on top of the back strap. It retains the Colt factory markings. The grips are marked with the serial number, and the left panel is marked "HAND MADE BY/DC." The factory letter states that the revolver had a 5 1/2 inch 45 LC barrel and blue finish with the top of stocks not listed when it was shipped to West Texas Wholesale Supply, Abilene, TX on September 4, 1981. Comes with a hardwood case fitted with two cartridge blocks. A second similar engraved and consecutively numbered SAA (SA51959) in the same shipment is in the previous lot.

Very fine overall as professionally embellished with 99% plus of the nickel finish showing the slightest handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent.
