Manufactured in 1917 with fixed blade front and round top rear notch sights on the slide with the two-line/two-block patent and address marking on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and the two-line caliber designation on the right side of the slide. The left side of the frame is stamped with the Colt "VP" proof and "R" on the trigger guard. Fitted with checkered Colt banner grips with the Rampant Colt in the center.

Excellent. 97% plus original bright blue finish remains with some light edge wear around the front of the slide and some small scattered surface scratches. The grips are also excellent with an aged chocolate tone, crisp checkering, and clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
