Manufactured in 1955. Standard left rear barrel markings with the Winchester oval proof on top of the barrel at the breech and the serial number on the underside of the receiver. Hooded ramp front and adjustable semi buckhorn rear sights, all blue finish and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm with a steel end cap and pistol grip stock with a Winchester hard rubber grip cap, checkered shotgun buttplate and sling swivel base.

Very fine. The rifle retains 95% slightly faded original blue finish with some minor edge wear, a few tiny areas of minor pitting and some light scratches on the receiver. There is some very minor muzzle wear, some normal usage wear on the hammer and lever. The wood is very fine with 80% of the original finish remaining and showing some minor dings and handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The markings are sharp and clear. The action is excellent.
