This is an example of a Crown Grade Mark V Rifle, Weatherby's best grade rifle and available on a custom order basis only. The ported tapered barrel was manufactured without sights and features factory floral scroll and punch dot engraving extending from the center point to the breech. The factory engraving extends to the receiver, bolt shroud, hinged floor plate, and trigger guard. A semi-relief gold moose against a mountainous wooded background is on the floorplate. The receiver has standard Mark V markings. The receiver is fitted with engraved scope bases and rings with a Weatherby 3-9x40mm scope. Fluted bolt and jeweled follower, serrated trigger, and knurled bolt handle. Mounted on an exhibition grade pistol grip stock with contrasting forend and grip caps, a diamond insert on the grip cap, raised cheekpiece, sling swivel studs, and a vented factory recoil pad. A fancy carved floral pattern is present on the forearm and grip area, and a contrasting diamond pattern is featured on the right side of the buttstock.

Excellent. 99% original high lustre blue finish remains with sharp engraving, some light cycling marks on the bolt body, and some small handling marks. The stock is also excellent with attractive color and sharp carving. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent with clear optics.
