Manufactured in late 1980. Features factory Class C floral scroll and punch dot patterns on the barrel, cylinder flats, trigger guard, frame and back strap. Standard barrel and frame markings, blade front and frame notch rear sights, all stainless steel finish and fitted with smooth hardwood grips with S&W medallions. Comes with a leather bound hard case with purple velvet lining. In the case is a 28 round bullet block with 28 rounds of Winchester 38 Special ammunition. Also comes with the original box numbered to the gun. The end label is marked "R437 CLASS C" in the Special Features box. The accompanying factory letter verifies the "Special Engraved Variation" with Class C engraving, caliber, barrel length, finish, wood grips and that it was shipped to Southern Gun Distributors Inc. in Opa Loca, Florida on February 10, 1981.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% original finish with a few light handling marks and a noticeable cylinder drag line. The grips are very good with a some chipping/flaking of the varnish and some scattered minor dents and dings. The engraving and markings are sharp. The action is excellent. The case and box are both very good with some wear and soiling on the lining.
