This high quality shotgun features leaf and vine scroll engraving with a black background on the forearm hardware, trigger guard, tangs, break lever, fences and bordering/flanking engraved scenes on the locks and underside of the receiver. The left lock has a detailed forest scene with two grouse in flight, two woodcock in flight in a forest scene are on the right lock and there is a woodcock in flight in a forest scene on the underside of the receiver. Each lock and the lower tang just ahead of the trigger guard are signed "INC Hassa". Above the scene on the underside of the receiver is a banner engraved "FLLI BERTUZZI". The top of the left barrel near the breech is marked "FLLI BERTUZZI ITALY". The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang (gold inlaid), water table and on the barrel flat. There is a single bead sight on the solid matte concave rib. 3 inch chambers, choked modified/improved modified and ejectors. Blue barrels, satin grey remaining metal surfaces, single trigger, tang mounted manual safety with gold "SAFE", and mounted with an extra fancy multi-point finely checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, checkered bare butt and vine and leaf engraved heel and toe piece. Length of pull is 14 5/8 inches, drop at the heel is 2 5/8 inches, drop at the comb is 1 3/8 inches, and the weight is 5 Lbs. 10.8 oz. Comes with a hard leather takedown case with brass corner protectors, leather handle and straps and wine colored lining with a leather Bertuzzi label affixed to the inside of the lid. In the case is a nickel container with a screw on lid, two pieces of a three piece cleaning rod and a wooden handled brush.
