Manufactured by the boutique firm of Bertuzzi in Gardone, Italy, and carrying on a family tradition of fine, bespoke Italian doubles over the course of four generations, until brothers Elio and Remigio Bertuzzi retired in 2009. Single nickel bead sight on the finely matted rib with 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, and cylinder/modified chokes. The breech end of the barrels feature carefully engraved bands. The action and side plates feature intricate semi-relief engraving with broad leafy scroll, tight scroll borders, heraldic winged lions, rose blossoms, and contrasting backgrounds done in a very fine punch-dot style. The underside of the receiver features finely engraved angelic figures. The left side of the trigger plate is signed "INC. GRAVELTI". Single non-selective trigger and tang mounted manual thumb safety. Mounted on a finely checkered, fancy European walnut forearm with engraved fittings, straight grip stock with a blank gold initial oval, and a fully checkered butt. The stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 1 3/4 inches; cast slightly off; toe slightly in; length of pull 14 inches.

Near new. 99% plus original blue finish remains with a few scattered light handling marks overall and crisp finely executed engraving. The wood is also near new with rich color, dark figure, crisp checkering, and two very minor blemishes on the sides of the forearm. Mechanically excellent.
