SAUER & SOHN, SUHL", action with light border engraving and marked "EJECTOR" on the underside, dual triggers, automatic tang mounted thumb safety and multi-point checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with a blank gold initial oval and serrated hard rubber buttplate. Barrel and stock dimensions: bore diameter at 9 inches from the breech .727/.727 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from the breech .0365/.0365 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Very good as partially refinished (barrels and stock) with 95% plus blue finish on the barrels, some light pitting visible under the blue, and light edge wear. The receiver has 30% of the muted original case colors with the balance aged to a smooth gray patina with handling marks and traces of surface spotting. The wood is very good with scattered small indentations, crisp checkering, and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
