Single steel bead sight on the matte concave rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. TWIST" with 3 inch chambers, single extractor, and cylinder chokes. The barrel lug is marked "6" to indicate the massive size 6 frame, the largest available for a 10 gauge. The forearm hardware, barrel flats, and water table have matching serial numbers. Flourishes on light scroll engraving on the receiver and trigger guard. Mounted on a checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a blank, gold initial shield, and Parker Brothers "dog's head" checkered hard rubber buttplate. The stock dimensions and weight are: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 inches; weight 12 Lbs 12 Oz.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrels have an overall dark brown patina with areas of some bright wear, spotting, and mild pitting, the rib markings are clear and crisp. The frame has a mostly mottled brown/gray patina with some light spotting, small scratches, traces of case colors, and clear engraving. The wood is fine with well defined checkering, handling marks overall, scattered small dings and some heavier impressions on the buttstock. Mechanically very good.
