Manufactured in 1927. "The Ithaca Gun Company: From the Beginning" by Snyder lists approximately 790 New Ithaca Field Grade shotguns produced in .410 bore (page 93). Single brass bead sight on concave, matte rib barrels, 3 inch chambers, single extractor, full/full chokes, all visible numbers match, dual triggers, automatic tang mounted safety, cocking indicators and checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a serrated hard rubber buttplate. The stock measurements: drop at comb 1 3/4 inch; drop at heel 3 inch; length of pull 14 inches.

Very good. 95% original blue finish remains on the barrels with scattered small scratches, traces of light spotting, and mild edge. The receiver has 40% original muted case colors with the balance a smooth gray/brown patina with small dings and light spotting. The wood is very good with well defined checkering, scattered indentations, and some small scratches. Mechanically excellent. A very desirable Ithaca small bore in original condition.
