Manufactured in 1902. White bead front and red bead mid sights on matte rib barrels, 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, modified/modified chokes, "L.C. SMITH" marked side plates with game bird scenes in oval borders, dual triggers, tang mounted automatic safety and custom checkered beavertail forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and serrated hard rubber buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .729/.730 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0505/.05 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Very fine as refinished overall. 95% blue finish remains with scattered light pitting, flattened matting on the rib, and some visible Damascus patterning around the chambers. 90% case colors remain with crisp engraving and small handling marks. The replacement wood is very fine with sharp checkering and rich color. Mechanically excellent.
