Produced in Belgium, this rifle is part of a limited importation run performed by Browning Arms in the early 1970s. Originally given a green light by the ATF, an exemption was granted for the rifles that had already brought into the country before the ATF reversed their position, due to the use of formerly automatic receivers in the G-series. Post front and military tangent peep sights, with a long flash hider, bayonet lug, and adjustable gas port with grenade setting. The left side of the upper receiver is marked "F.A.L. cal. 7.62", and the matching numbered lower receiver has the "S/R/A" selector markings, with the "A" position disabled via pin. Matching numbers are also present on the bolt and bolt carrier. Fitted with a smooth plastic pistol grip and a fine hardwood forearm and buttstock set, with a tooled leather sling. Included with the rifle is a plain brown shipping box, three extra magazines, a FN Light Automatic Rifle manual with U.S./semi-auto insert, spare firing pin, gas port wrench, and a Hensoldt-Wetzlar scope fitted to a German made reinforced dust cover with a canvas covered case.

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing some mild spotting around the flash hider, ejection and gas ports and rear sight, along with some mild handling marks and edge wear. The stock is excellent, with a few light dings and fine grain and color. The lining of the scope case has come apart from age, and the lens covers are damaged and stuck on the scope. Mechanically excellent.
