Manufactured in Iran on contract, the Model 49 Carbine closely follows the design of the Czech Model 33, Blade front and tangent rear sight, with the rear sight numbered in Arabic numerals, the Persian Lion on the chamber and the rest of the markings in Farsi. Matching partial numbers are present on the bright bolt and smooth pistol grip stock. With an unmarked bayonet, 21 inches overall with a 15 3/4 inch bright blade, wood grips and a black enamel scabbard.

Excellent, with 95% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light spotting on the bolt and mild handling marks overall. The excellent stock shows a few mild dents and scuffs. The bayonet is fine with some mild spotting. Mechanically excellent.
