This is an outstanding example of a Mauser Model 1930 Commercial Broomhandle Pistol with the correct walnut combination shoulder stock/holster. The top of the barrel chamber is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N", with a "crown/U" proof on the left upper flat. The serial number (919767) is located on the top rear edge of the upper receiver/barrel extension. The left rear panel of the receiver is marked with the Mauser banner and the right rear of the frame is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A. NECKAR/D.R.P.u.A.P." The "crown/U" proof is repeated on the top of the bolt handle. Integral blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated from 50 to 1,000 meters. All blue finish and fitted with 12-groove walnut grips and lanyard ring on the butt. Complete with a wooden stock/holster with the Commercial Mauser banner logo stamped on the left rear. The attaching iron is correctly unnumbered. As noted this Mauser pistol is accompanied by an old appraisal from Charles Kenyon.

Excellent with 97% plus of the original blue finish overall with shoulder stock high spot wear visible. The grips are in very fine condition with a nice oil finish showing minor handling marks on the sides. The shoulder stock is in very good condition with a clear, distinct Mauser Banner logo however the sides show numerous handling marks/light pressure dents overall and the stock itself shows three cracks emanating from the rear edge of the stock. Two are fairly short and one is approximately 4 1/2 inches long. The attaching iron and hinge shows 75% of their blued finish mixed with minor browning and it is missing one of the screws for the hinge.
