The included factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, blue finish, and March 7, 1932 date of a one gun shipment to Albany Hardware & Iron Company, of Albany, New York on factory order number 10836/100. Fixed round blade front and flat top rear notch sights with the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide and the two-line "NATIONAL MATCH COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45" followed by the Rampant Colt on the right. The right side of the frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" over the serial number with "60" on the right side of the trigger guard and "W/VP" on the left. Fitted with a checkered short trigger, checkered slide stop, safety, and magazine catch. Blue barrel with a factory polished chamber and a circled "MB" mark on the left side of the lug indicating it as a match barrel.

Excellent. 97% plus original blue finish remains with some small patches of light spotting, scattered surface scratches, handling marks overall, and a slightly mottled gray patina on the barrel chamber. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
