Standard blade and notch sights, two-line address on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and the caliber notation on the right side. The right side of the trigger guard is stamped "55" and "P/VP" are on the left. Fitted with checkered grips with silver Colt medallions. Includes the original box, bore brush, and papers.

Excellent in original box. 98% original blue finish remains with some scattered light handling marks and a very small gray patch on the right side of the trigger guard. The grips are also excellent with some light verdigris around the screw escutcheons and medallions and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some wear at the hinge and a peeling end label.
